In what file format do I deliver the ungraded file to Color in Motion?
This depends on the format the original footage is recorded in. Contact us and we’ll sort out the right file format for you.
Can we do a test grading upfront?
Yes, we actually do this by default. Based on your briefing we grade approx. 3 minutes of diverse footage until we have reached a mutually agreed Look & Feel.
I will upload a 'progressive' file, but like to have the graded file returned as 'Interlaced'. Is this possible?
Yes, this is no problem…. and we don’t charge extra for this 😉
How do I upload a file in Frame.io?
Upload videos, still images or audio by dragging them from a folder anywhere into the project. Or, select New > File upload on the top right of your project. When you upload a folder from your computer, frame.io will retain the folder structure automatically.
Once the upload is finished, hover scrubs are instantly created for videos and thumbnails for your still images. Non-media file types will be displayed with a file icon.
Can I add another person to our mutual folder in Frame.io?
To add additional users to the folder, click the top right plus user sign (+) and invite them by email. If you wish, you can add a personalized message to your invite.
The user will receive an email notification asking them to join the project. Users must sign in with the exact email address that they have been invited with. Until they confirm, you will see them as a Pending Collaborator. You can resend the invite if needed.
